A Prayer to the Holy Spirit
O Good One, Holy and life-giving breath of God, fill
our hearts and minds with your love; comfort our brothers, sisters
and children living with AIDS. Increase our commitment to their needs;
and assist us to be faithful disciples in the Gospel's call. Remove
fear, prejudice, and hatred from our midst; forgive our failure in
responding to sickness, need, and death. Finally, fill us to
overflowing with fire that only You possess.
O promise of God, to
all who believe and faithfully respond to Your call. Grant us the
grace and gift of true love, faith and healing. Amen
Heavenly King, O Comforter, the Spirit of truth, Who art everywhere
present and fillest all things, O Treasury of every good and Bestower
of life: Come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from every stain, and
save our souls.
